Candida - in urine (candidurie)

Remarks:

asymptomatische candidurie: geen antifungale therapie. Overweeg verwijdering/wissel van catheter. 
Medication:

fluconazol po loading dose 800mg, 400mg 1dd 2 weeks
Remarks:

alleen bij symptomatische en herhaaldelijke candidurie. zie onder. 

General comments

therapie alleen bij patienten met niertransplantatie, low birth weight neonaten, neutropenie of geplande chirurgische ingrepen. 

  1. check of er invasieve renale candidiasis is, danwel obstructie of fungal balls en behandel chirurgisch als aanwezig. 
  2. als candida glabrata: blaasspoeling met conventionele Amfo B 500ml (50mg/l). Combineer met caspofungine in geval van invasieve renale candidiasis. Consult infectioloog.

Duur tot 2 weken na obheffen obstructie.
