Medication:

benzylpenicilline iv 1million. IU 6dd 2 weeks

followed by

clindamycine po 600mg 3dd 2 to 4 weeks

General comments

opmerkingen:

  • osteomyelitis bij diabetische voet: zie hoofdstuk diabetische voet.
  • osteomyelitis in de rug: zie hoofdstuk spondylodiscitis.
  • osteomyelitis van gewrichten: zie hoofdstuk artritis

Allergieen: 

  • bij niet ernstige B-lactam allergie: cefazoline 3x1000mg iv 2 weken, gevolgd door clindamycine 3x600mg p.o. 2-4 weken
  • bij ernstige B-lactam allergie: clindamycine 3x600mg 4-6 weken.
