General comments

Matig ernstige CAP =  Ambu 2. Klinisch behandeld, niet op de ICU

Diagnostiek: 

  • Alleen bloedkweken
  • Geen sputumkweek. 
  • Geen pneumokokken/legionella diagnostiek. Indien recent buitenland bezoek: wel Legionella antigeentest urine OF PCR legionella op sputum (niet op keel)
  • Indien geen verbetering na 48 h: diagnostiek naar Legionella, Mycoplasma en Chlamydophila spp.

Orale uitbehandeling:

  • Switch naar amoxicilline 3x500mg p.o. als klinische verbetering (doorgaans na 48-72 h)

Behandelduur:

  • 5 dagen
